Audience Feedback

Robinson Crusoe & The PiratesThanks to our pals, Carolyn and Tony Waite, my husband and I have had the pleasure of attending many of the productions by this fabulous group. We have always had a number of our local Camberley pals with us - in fact they now remind us to invite them to any Crondall production!
We have had many absolutely wonderful evenings in Crondall and never cease to marvel at the professionalism of your productions and the talent both on and off the stage. "Robinson Crusoe" was exceptional - the props, the costumes, the lighting, the sound, the acting and dancing, and, last but not least, the directing.
Congratulations to everyone who was involved in both this and previous productions. We look forward to viewing many more!
Our sincere thanks to every solitary person who has been involved in any way.

Robinson Crusoe & The Pirates, 2011

History

Founded in 1982 we are a large and successful local amateur dramatics group with members drawn from the North Hampshire and West Surrey areas.

We perform a variety of different productions including comedies, plays, pantomimes, farces, musicals and old time music halls.

We also arrange various social activities for members of the group including play readings, theatre visits and social evenings and quizes.

In 1996 we were lucky enough to gain the lease of the Old Gym Building in Crondall. We became a registered charity “The Crondall Entertainers Community Association” and undertook the complete restoration and refurbishment of this community building.

After an enormous amount of work, and thanks to the generous support from Hart District Council and the National Lottery, The Old Gym now serves as our home and as a base for other local community groups. In recent years this restoration work has continued as we have been able to use profits from productions to provide the funds for redecoration and the landscaping of the areas to the front and rear of the building.
