Welcome to the Crondall Entertainers' website

If you are interested in amateur dramatics and possibly thinking of joining a group do take a little time to have a look through our website.

This
report explains our activities and achievements during 2007-8, and if you follow the links in the menu on the left you can find out a lot more about our various productions, our building "The Old Gym" and the local area.

We are always keen to welcome new people to join the group either onstage or behind the scenes. Please contact us - we look forward to hearing from you.

Matthew Newberry – Chairman CECA

We are currently planning our next production which will be a Comedy Revue to be performed in October.

This will take the format of a quiz evening with a meal and a series of comic sketches. Our last Comedy review was performed in October 2004 - for details see our Past Productions section.

There are lots of different ways to get involved and we are always keen to welcome new members to the group. Auditions and casting begin in July. So if you are interested in joining us either behind the scenes or front of house, do please contact us

Founded in 1982 we are a large and successful local amateur dramatics group with members drawn from the North Hampshire and West Surrey areas.

We perform a variety of different productions including comedies, straight plays, pantomimes, musicals and Old Time Music Halls.

We also arrange various social activities for members of the group including play readings, theatre visits and social evenings.

In 1996 we were lucky enough to gain the lease of the Old Gym Building in Crondall. We became a registered charity “The Crondall Entertainers Community Association” and undertook the complete restoration and refurbishment of this community building.

After an enormous amount of work, and thanks to the generous support from Hart District Council and the National Lottery, The Old Gym now serves as our home and as a base for other local community groups.

For further details of our productions, how to book The Old Gym or how to contact us please follow the links on the left.
