 | On moving to Crondall in 1982 I was accosted by Hazel Hayward in the Village shop and "told" that I would be joining the Entertainers. Hazel was the power house of the group then and never took no for an answer.
Initially I was very nervous and in my first production was prompt and the off-stage mirror voice in Snow White.
The nerves soon passed !! and as you can see it's difficult for the group to have a production that I don't wheedle my way into !!
I have played some wonderful characters - my favourite being Mrs. Swabb in Habeus Corpus. It is a great hobby I would recommend anyone to have a go. |
