Time of My Life |
Written By: Alan Ayckbourne
Performed: 2004
Directed by Deborah Hammond and Jo Storey,"Time of My Life" is vintage Alan Ayckbourne. Described by The Times as "funny, very funny and not funny at all", it plots a seemingly happy family celebration.
The play begins with a family meal at Calvinu's restaurant on Saturday 18th January to celebrate Laura's birthday. After the meal Gerry and Laura remain in the restaraunt late into the evening. The action travels into the future to plot Glyn and Stephanies relationship, and back in time to see how Adam and Maureen's relationship developed during their dating at the restaraunt.
